The implementation of the National Examination (UN) in Malang City on the first day, Monday (18/4) apparently still found several problems in schools. Like in SMAN 9 Malang there were 7 excess exam questions for several subjects and also reserve exam questions that were still at the Malang Police when the exam was taking place. This was conveyed by one of the members of Commission D of the Malang City DPRD, Sutrisno when conducting a review of the implementation of the UN at the school.

The review of the implementation of the National Examination held by Commission D of the Malang City DPRD was divided into 3 groups. The first group went to SMKN 3 on Jalan Surabaya, the second group went to SMAN 6 on Jalan Mayjend Sungkono and the third group went to SMAN 9 on Jalan Simpang Borobudur. This review will be carried out for the next 3 days before continuing to SMP and SD. Meanwhile, the exam supervisors from academic circles come from Brawijaya University, Malang State University (UM) and Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang.
According to Sutrisno, the reserve of exam questions should have been in the school. This is to anticipate if there is a shortage of questions, students do not have to wait too long, so that the implementation of the exam runs smoothly. "For the UN supervisors there is no problem, it runs orderly and no supervisors were found from among Indonesian language teachers, because that is indeed not allowed," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Commission D of the Malang City DPRD, Christea Frisdiantara, conducted a review of SMKN 3. "There are no problems at SMKN 3, everything is running well and no irregularities were found related to the implementation of the National Examination. There is only one student named Irawan who did not take the National Examination, because he died or was a victim of a stabbing during the celebration of the people's party in the context of the 97th Anniversary of Malang City in the Malang City Hall square some time ago," he said.
The Democrat Party politician added that Commission D will supervise the implementation of the National Exam since the exam scripts are issued from the Malang Police Headquarters, given to exam participants, when students return them to the school, until the exam questions are sent to Surabaya. "This is all for the smooth and safe implementation of the National Exam and to anticipate unwanted things. Until this news was written, the results of monitoring by the police, the school, monitoring by Commission D, and the Malang City Education Office, overall went relatively smoothly," continued Christea.
"Not only today, hopefully the implementation of the National Examination can run smoothly. We also expect the exam supervisors to be more selective when distributing exam questions, so that things that are detrimental to students do not happen," added Christea. The statement was not much different from that conveyed by the Head of the Malang City Education Office, Dra. Sri Wahyuningtyas, M.Si when contacted via her cellphone, who said that based on the results of her review of schools, the implementation of the first day of the National Examination was orderly and conducive.
Asked about the circulation of the UN leak text message, so far, Christea said there has been no information or complaint to Commission D of the Malang City DPRD. Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City Education Office when confirmed regarding the damage to the computer answer sheets (LJK) found in several schools, could not provide an answer, even though the committee had replaced them with new ones during the exam. The implementation of the UN in Malang City this time was attended by 14.153 students consisting of 4.951 high school students, 753 Madrasah Aliyah students and 8.449 vocational high school students.
