The togetherness between mothers and students was also seen when they were challenged in various competitions.
Among them, when the students were challenged to make their mother's favorite drink, they tried their best to make it even though their bodies were covered in various drink ingredients. Not wanting to lose, the mother wholeheartedly showed her talents in singing and fashion so that her child would be even more proud.
"We gave this activity the theme 'The Role of Mothers in Building Character Education', because we want to encourage mothers to continue to play their role in building their children's character," said the event section, Noor Jehan, Tuesday (20/12).
According to him, the role of mothers is very important in shaping children's characters, because 75 percent of children's time is spent at home. Unfortunately, he added, so far there are still some parents who hand over 100 percent of their children's education to schools.
In addition to the three competitions, the fun was also enlivened by other competitions, including making greeting cards for mothers, making and reading poetry, making frames, and making three-dimensional works.
They also showed their solidarity by planting trees in the outbound area of SD Anak Saleh. The fruit tree seedlings that their mothers brought from home were planted together with the students.
