"For 10 days, our members managed to arrest 53 criminal suspects operating in Malang City. So, what we have done has exceeded the target requested by the East Java Regional Police," he said, in revealing the case at his office, Jalan JA Suprapro, Tuesday (27/12) in front of reporters.

Police Chief Teddy added, of the 53 suspects who were successfully arrested, among them, for aggravated theft (curat) as many as 3 suspects, with 1 suspect as the target of the operation and 2 non-target operations. Theft with violence (curas) there is 1 suspect, from 1 target of the operation.

Meanwhile, regarding motorcycle theft (curanmor), he admitted that he managed to catch 3 suspects, from 1 target operation and 2 non-targets. For trafficking There are 2 suspects arrested, from 1 target operation. Gambling there are 11 suspects, from 10 non-target operations. Thuggery 5 suspects and 3 non-target operations. Drug cases 1 suspect from 1 non-target operation, alcoholic beverages (miras) 20 suspects from 20 non-target operations.

Ordinary theft (curbis) as many as 2 suspects from 2 non-target operations. Street crime (street crime) 4 suspects from 3 non-target operations. Other crimes 1 suspect from 1 non-target operation, so that the total is 53 suspects. "From all the cases, most are already in the investigation process. Until now, in Malang City there has been a decrease in crime compared to the previous year. The decrease is estimated to reach 32 percent.
