Cultivating the creativity of children and the young generation of Muslims in Malang City, IPNU/PPNU Blimbing District held various competitions. Among them was holding the Islamic Creativity Festival for kindergarten children, TPQ/TPA throughout Blimbing District, at MI Hasyim Asyari, Malang City, Tuesday (27/12).
The Head of PAC IPNU (Nahdlatul Ulama Student Association) Blimbing, Aldi Firmansyah said that this activity was held as an agenda for the month of preaching. The hope is that in the future it can produce a generation with a religious, independent and creative soul.
"There are five competition categories being held at the moment, all of which have an Islamic feel," explained Aldi, Tuesday (27/12).
The five contested are coloring contest for kindergarten children aged 4-7 years, calligraphy for children aged 7-13 years, quiz for children in grades 1-3 of elementary school and 4-6 of elementary school, Qiro'ah and memorization of short letters for the general public. Each winner gets a prize and trophy.
"I don't know for sure how many participants took part in the competition, but there were at least 200 children from various sub-districts in Blimbing District," said Aldi.
Before being held at MI Hasyim Asy'ari Aldi said the Gebyar Kreasi Islami activity had been held twice. The first was in Arjosari and the second was in Pandean. (cah/dmb)
