Encouraging the efforts of footballers, teams and coaches who have helped advance football in Malang City, the Malang City PSSI Regional Executive Board continues to take various steps. Among them is by holding an award night for achievements, the Malang City PSSI Regional Executive Board, at Malang City Hall, Friday (30/12).
Of the three competitions held by the PSSI Malang City Regional Executive Board, PS UMM emerged as the first winner of the main division competition, PS Gantari as the first winner of division I and PS Golden Boy,s as the second winner of division. The Tirtadarma U-16 Cup was the first winner won by PS Gatra Mapang, the Dispora Cup KU 14 was won by PS Unibraw 82 and the Dispora Pila U-11 was won by PS UM.
Secretary of the Malang City PSSI Regional Executive Board said that this award was given as a form of appreciation for the role of the person, POPS, a team that has achieved a series of successes. With the reward, it is hoped that in the future their achievements can be even better.
"This moment is certainly awaited by POPS, therefore I am very grateful to the people who care about football in Malang City. So that it can make the achievements of this city's football even more advanced," said Haris, Friday (30/12).
According to Haris, the competition in one year rolled out by Malang City is not small, but very large. Where in one year there are at least 12 tournaments and competitions. With 12 participants from the main division, 12 participants from division I, 12 participants from division II, 7 playoff participants plus U-11 and U-14 tournaments.
In the future, according to Haris, it is not only the competition that will continue to be moved. To advance football in Malang, AFC C license training will also be held. Adding to the lack of C3 license referees, Malang City is also preparing to hold it. (cah/dmb)
