The beauty of Bunulrejo residents' work amazed the Kampung Bersinar jury who came. Because the residents were not only able to organize their village to be clean and comfortable, but also able to make various products that have high selling value.

The head of the Kampung Bersinar jury group, Eko Fajar Arbandi, expressed his pleasure with the rapid development of Bunulrejo Village but still caring about the environment. Seeing residents in organizing the environment, everything is almost perfect.

"This sub-district has passion fruit juice that tastes extraordinary, if it can be packaged well, this product can be a mainstay," explained Eko, Monday (3/12).

Seeing the cleverness of the residents in managing their village, Eko said, this village has the opportunity to win the Shining Village. In Malang City, there are currently 100 RWs that have been assessed and many are competitive.

"On December 13, the jury team will conduct an evaluation. After that, we will decide which RW will be the champion. The exact date will be announced later," said Eko.

Seeing the reforestation carried out, the management of family medicinal plants planted, and the utilization of yards. RW 13 in Bunulrejo Village can be developed into a Sustainable Food House Area (KRPL).

RW 13 activist, Bunulrejo Village, Eko Suhartono, said that a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle continues to be developed in his village. The cleverness of the residents in processing waste has made it difficult for this village to find waste to be processed into compost, liquid fertilizer and organic urea.

"Because we run out of waste raw materials, we often look for them at Pasar Gadang. We do this because fertilizer orders are increasing but the products are always out of stock," said Eko.

Eko said that although there are many fertilizer orders, only a few can be served because so far the production is still using a manual system. In the future, he hopes that technology can help him serve large-scale fertilizer requests.

Similar to the demand for fertilizer, the demand for passion fruit juice and syrup is also very large. But unfortunately because the passion fruit is still small, the demand still cannot be met.

"Most of our passion fruit plants are still small, we are currently continuing to breed them to meet the increasing demand," Eko emphasized. (cah/dmb)
