The principal of SMKN 3, Aksihari M.Pd revealed that eradicating corruption is a concern of the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud). To combat it, anti-corruption education will begin to be integrated into all subjects at the SMA/SMK level in 2013.

"For the initial stage of anti-corruption education, not all schools are implemented. In Malang City, one of the schools that has started implementing it is SMKN 3 Malang City," Aksihari explained, Monday (3/12).

Aksihari admitted that anti-corruption education has actually been given to students, one of which is through the honesty canteen. It's just that now it will be further strengthened. Except for students, socialization is also delivered to employees and teachers.

According to Aksihari, teachers must also understand in order to be able to prepare lesson plans, syllabi and evaluations of learning containing anti-corruption education.

"In this anti-corruption education, teachers must convey and explain the values of anti-corruption education to students related to the subjects being taught," said Aksihari.

How to implement it, the Ministry of Education and Culture has issued an anti-corruption character education guide. In addition, cooperation has also been carried out with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in instilling anti-corruption values.

Speaker from the People Development Center, KIASS, Galih Candra, delivered a presentation starting from conditioning students' readiness to face the world of school to work in the future.

"If at this time you dare to commit small-scale corruption, it is not impossible that you will dare to commit large-scale corruption later. To face the future, what is really needed is not a shortcut. The choice is in our hands to prepare for it," explained Galih.

Galih and his friends also gave motivation to each student, that to achieve success, it really takes serious effort and not half-heartedly. (cah/dmb)
