Head of the Malang City Cleanliness and Parks Department (DKP), Drs. Wasto, SH, MH said that his party did not dare to set a target for when the plan would be realized, in fact it was not as easy as imagined. "But we hope that next year the implementation will start," he told reporters, Wednesday (19/12).

Wasto added that the management with investors from Germany had been submitted to the central government since early 2012. Currently, the blueprint for waste management from the Ministry of Public Works (KemenPU) and the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) has been completed.

"The new blueprint was submitted to the President to be signed. We don't know when the president signed it," said Wasto.

If it has been signed, he said, then all that remains is to wait for the grant fund disbursement process. The nominal amount of funds needed, according to the results of the pre-design and Detailed Engineering Design (DED) has been completed at the Ministry of Public Works, a figure of Rp 195 billion has emerged for financing the management of the Sanitary land Field Full system.
"When will the integrated management begin? We are still waiting for the results of the blueprint submitted to the president," explained Wasto.

Waste management by installing installations to capture methane gas from waste which is currently available at the Supit Urang TPA, according to Wasto, is a system Sanitary Land Field Full from Germany will support existing programs. "The methane gas capture is in the existing land, while the assistance from the center managed by Germany is outside the existing," explained Wasto.

If the current management is still less than perfect, it can be supported by a system concept. Sanitary Land Field Full. The potential for leachate or methane gas can be managed more optimally. "Leachate will not seep underground, methane gas capture is also better. Because the management of the TPA will be more constructed in an integrated concept," concluded Wasto. (say/dmb)
