Today, Wednesday (26/12) in the Malang City Hall courtroom, the handover of the PBB-P2 Database Application System and softcopy of the PBB map was held in the context of transferring PBB-P2 as a regional tax.

At this event, it was stated that the tax management that had been carried out by the central government had been delegated to the regions, and Malang City was the first city to receive this delegation. Acting on behalf of the central government, the Head of the East Java III Regional Tax Office, Ken DwijugiaSteadi, and from the Malang City Government were symbolically received by the City Secretary, DR, Drs. H. Shofwan, SH, M.Si.
With this tax transfer system, Shofwan hopes that it can improve human resources to be better, especially human resources who will later manage regional income from the tax sector, namely Dispenda (Regional Revenue Service).
However, he said, his party still needs guidance and assistance from people at the East Java III DJP tax office, so that later in carrying out their duties they can be optimal and can meet the targets.
"Malang City will certainly be grateful for all of this, so that later this city will become a competitive and more advanced city. All parties, from the ranks of the Malang city government must participate and support this tax achievement," added Shofwan.
He gave an example, such as the village head and sub-district head who have a big role to increase regional income from this tax sector. "The village head and sub-district head are one of the spearheads in order to collect taxes from the community, so they must be more proactive," he appealed. (say/dmb)
