A total of 11 political parties submitted their complete files in order to pass and be able to participate in the election. The 11 political parties are PKPB, PKNU, Labor Party, PNI Marhaen, Labor Party, SRI Party, PDS, Sovereignty Party, Rupublikan Party, Bhineka Indonesia Party (PBI), Indonesian Democracy Upholding Party (PPDI), and Congress Party.

Of the 11 political parties, 8 parties were declared to have passed and met the requirements (MS), and there were 3 parties that did not meet the requirements (TMS), namely PBI, PPDI and the Congress Party. The three parties did not pass, because of party membership, fictitious party office domiciles and women's representation of less than 30 percent.

That was what was conveyed by the commissioner of Malang City KPUD, Rusmifahrizal Rustam to reporters when met after the plenary meeting in his office. After this plenary, he said, the results will be submitted to the East Java Provincial KPU to be recapitulated, verified and will be plenary.

If after the plenary session at the city level, it turns out that there are still political parties that will file an appeal, Rustam explained, then the process can be reported to Panwas, and the next mechanism will be processed by Panwas.

"The report/complaint submitted must be in written form, so that it can be processed further. To the leaders of political parties who wish to submit their exceptions, we invite you and we hope you can follow the existing procedures," explained Rustam. (say/dmb)
