Increasing its role to be able to provide more benefits to the community, Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School in Malang City launched the Community Development Forum (FPU) program. The activity, which is an effort by Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School to be able to improve the welfare of the community, was officially launched on Sunday (1/11).
Present at the launch were the Mayor of Malang H. Moch. Anton, the Malang Police Chief AKBP Totok Suharyanto, the Chairperson of the PP Muslimat NU Khofifah Indar Parawansa, religious scholars, ranks of SKPD and all community leaders in Malang City.
The caretaker of Bahrul Magfiroh Islamic Boarding School, KH. Luqman Al Karim said, how wonderful it would be if humans understood the true life that Allah wants. Where all Muslims always pray to be given happiness in this world and the hereafter.
"Muslims must be happy in the world. How can they feel the pleasures of the world if they cannot enjoy happiness in the world," explained the man who is often called Gus Luqman, Sunday (1/11).
To be able to enjoy the happiness of the world, Muslims must be good in the world, whatever their field and become anything. Because Rasulullah SAW taught from childhood orphans, becoming goat herders, becoming heads of households, becoming merchants to becoming warlords, all can be lived happily.
"The Apostle has exemplified in all fields how to achieve success. As Muslims, it is obligatory for us to always emulate him," explained Gus Luqman.
Gus Luqman added that being happy is easy, the way is to cleanse your heart of traits that are not pleasing to Allah. As a human being, you must remain humble, not arrogant as exemplified by Rasullulah SAW.
"The Messenger of Allah is an international leader who cannot be defeated by anyone, the Messenger of Allah is very humble. Whoever is humble will be elevated by Allah, whoever is arrogant will be drowned," explained Gus Luqman.
By launching FPU, Gus Luqman hopes to be able to guide more people to achieve happiness. This activity is also a form of concern from Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School to jointly empower the community, not only through education and religious studies, but also through improving welfare.
Malang Mayor H. Moch Anton welcomed the holding of FPU which could further improve the welfare of the community. The existence of this activity is expected to further make Malang City more dignified. (cah/dmb)
