The tempeh chips industry center in the Sanan Village area seems to be a special attraction for the TP PKK of the Mojokerto City Government. If so far tempeh has only been used as a side dish for one day, now tempeh in Malang City can generate extraordinary profits.
This was conveyed by the Head of TP PKK of Mojokerto City Government, Ninis Suyitno, when leading a comparative study visit to Malang City Government, in the city hall courtroom, Tuesday (26/11). According to her, Malang City residents are extraordinary, because they can process food such as tempeh into high-value food.
"That's why we came to Malang City and will learn how to make good tempeh chips. The city is cold here, but the tempeh chips are very delicious and crispy. Besides buying them as souvenirs, we will also learn how to make these tempeh chips. Later we will practice it in Mojokerto," explained Ninis.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson II of TP PKK Malang City, Hj. Endang Shofwan said that visits and cooperation like this should continue to be increased. Although the Chairperson of TP PKK and most of its members are currently doing activities outside the city, we hope that it will not disrupt the smooth running of events like this.
"Hopefully this visit will not be the last and in the future we can further enhance cooperation in all areas. So far we have run 10 main PKK programs, in five sub-districts and 57 villages in Malang City. This city is a center of education. Its population is more than recorded, which is around 800 thousand, because of the large number of students," said Endang.
He added, we in Working Group I always provide assistance, training and partnerships with related agencies. Such as sewing training, beading, and so on. "Work Group III provides counseling and coaching, such as the healthy home program. In the past, we also studied UKS (School Health Efforts) to the Mojokerto City Government and Alhamdulillah now we are always champions, including PHBS (Clean and Healthy Living Behavior) in Sukun Village with its therapy village," explained Endang.
