Commemorating World AIDS Day, the Malang AIDS community network held a fun walk with the start and finish at Malang City Hall. Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton directly kicked off the fun walk, Sunday (1/11).

The head of the AIDS care walk committee, David Sudarsono, said that the purpose of this activity was to invite SKPD, the community, and students to work together to care about AIDS. With this joint walk and exercise, in addition to the HIV and AIDS campaign, it is also intended to campaign for a healthy lifestyle.
"Walking and morning exercise are one of the healthy living behaviors. Through this activity, we invite all elements of society to love healthy living," explained David, Sunday (1/11).
David said, the public's indifference to the issue of AIDS, including the ongoing stigma and discrimination against people with HIV/AIDS, is partly due to a lack of understanding. Therefore, events like this are an effective way to exchange information about prevention, care and treatment of AIDS.
