Every day, many proposals are submitted by the community to the Malang City Government. The various proposals vary in their uses, ranging from building places of worship, social activities, training, and others. Until early December 2011, there have been around 110 proposals submitted to the Malang City Government and will be followed up, especially those submitted to the Social Welfare Section.

The amount of aid that will be disbursed by the Malang City Government ranges from Rp 750 thousand to Rp 1,5 million, depending on what it is used for. "For training or education and training held by the community or students, it ranges from 1-2 million only. While large aid, for example to contribute to the construction of the Jami mosque, which does require a large budget," he added.
The allocation of the amount of budget for the submission of proposals must be assisted, continued Edy, is the authority of BAPPEDA, and his party only needs to disburse it. "The important thing is that it has been approved and we have been ordered to disburse it, yes we will immediately disburse it according to the instructions," he continued.
In addition to maximizing the proposals submitted to the city government, Edy continued, his party will also propose to Commission D for an increase in incentives for religious teachers and Sunday teachers. "As is known, the incentives for Sunday teachers and religious teachers are Rp 37.500, and will be proposed to be Rp 75 thousand. While for modin, from Rp 37.500 it will be proposed to be Rp 50 thousand," he said.
"Currently there are 300 modin people and 7500 religious teachers and Sunday teachers. From all of those, we will accommodate, and for religious teachers who have received incentives from the local religious department or ministry of religion, they will not receive incentives from the Malang City Government," concluded Edy.
