The existence of Aji Santoso International Football Academy (ASIFA) in Malang City seems to be interesting and has become a special concern for the General Chairman of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI), Prof. DR. Ir. Djohar Arifin Husin. After hearing information related to the emergence of ASIFA, Djohar immediately gave a response.

"The news I received was that in Malang there is an extraordinary youth football academy. From that information I need to cross-check, and I have to come in person. It turns out that the information I received is true," said Djohar when met by reporters at ASIFA, Tuesday (03/12).
According to him, ASIFA is extraordinary and will not only be the pride of Malang, but all parties, especially Indonesia. "This is a good investment in the field of football. In addition to the emergence of private parties, the infrastructure is also good. Not only the field and building, it turns out that the education of the students is also a special concern," added Djohar.
This investment, he explained, is not just for business, so I think I really have to know directly in detail about ASIFA. Related to this, Djohar responded very much because currently PSSI is also serious about producing quality young soccer players. "We are ready to fully support the existence of ASIFA," he continued.
Djohar further said, if ASIFA is managed seriously, the results will be pleasing and make Indonesia proud. We are just waiting for the time, and what is needed by this academy, PSSI is ready to provide.cover. "We hope that in the future other academies like this will emerge in each city/province, with adequate quality," he explained.
"If there are many football academies like this, I can't imagine the progress of Indonesian football in the next five years. We are optimistic that Indonesia will be able to send quality players to leagues in Asia or even to Europe. All parties will certainly pray. And if this can be realized, it will certainly be extraordinary," explained Djohar. (say/dmb)
