As the chairman of the Muhammadiyah Regional Management (PDM) of Malang City, Rif'an Maskur never stops providing motivation and inviting his cadres to always be on the path of Allah SWT in their struggle. He advised the cadres to be able to contribute fully to Muhammadiyah and not think about what can be obtained in Muhammadiyah.
That was the message he conveyed at the religious study and coordination meeting of the Muhammadiyah Regional Management (PDM) of Malang City with the theme "Stimulating the spirit of Muhammadiyah in welcoming 2014", at the PDM office of Malang City, Jalan Gajayana 28 B, Sunday (08/12).
“Muhammadiyah must be our path in jihad. in the name of Allah. We must love this organization even though, not because of or expecting something in return. We should not feel successful when preaching alone but ignore the interests of the organization that accommodates us. It is useless for us to be known by many people if the internal organization where we are sheltered does not get a response," explained Rif'an.
In fighting, he said, besides being sincere, we must also be able to control our desires, so that what we fight for is focused and produces something maximal. "No less important is strengthening our preaching in society. Concretely, we will continue to promote religious studies, maximize the abilities of cadres, and strengthen Islamic brotherhood," added Rif'an.
If you want to be a quality Muhammadiyah cadre, he explained, then we must be total and focused in implementing the organization's rules. Rif'an gave an example, if there is a meeting or routine gathering, all cadres should be present if there are no obstacles that really cannot be abandoned.
"Muhammadiyah is a large organization whose existence has brought many impacts to society. Moreover, in 2014, legislative and presidential elections will be held. Muhammadiyah cadres must be firm and clear in determining their leader candidates, and must be solid in the management," explained Rif'an. (say/dmb)
