On Mother's Day on December 22, Malang City Government will not only hold a ceremony in the yard of Malang City Hall. This year's Mother's Day commemoration in the Malang City Government environment will have a different event, there is an additional event, namely the Tax Awareness Healthy Walk.
This event, according to the Head of the Malang City Revenue Service (Dispenda), Ir. Ade Herawanto, MT, is expected to be attended by tens of thousands of people, and is a special gift for the commemoration of Mother's Day in 2013. "Thus, the commemoration of Mother's Day this year is more meaningful," he said when met after a coordination meeting related to the healthy walk event, in the Majapahit room, Malang City Hall, Monday (09/12).
Ade added that this event aims to strengthen the spirit of realizing regional independence through the growth of public awareness in paying taxes. "The tax-aware healthy walk event that is always held is one form of appreciation from the Malang City Government to taxpayers who have contributed to regional development," explained the former Head of Public Relations of the Malang City Government.
According to Ade, in the future, of course the Malang City Government will continue to develop various activities that can provide constructive appreciation to taxpayers. "The Malang City Government will also continue to be committed to synergizing the spirit of transparency and trust in the collection and use of regional tax sectors," he explained.
Meanwhile, Ni Kadek Yuni Diansari as the head of the committee said that this event is also fully supported by the Head of TP PKK Malang City, Hj. Dewi Farida Suryani, who will also pamper the residents of Malang City, especially taxpayers. "Concretely, the committee will provide various attractive prizes, namely several motorbikes, refrigerators, DVDs, dispensers, and several other attractive prizes," explained Yuni.
"This free healthy walk coupon will be given through 57 sub-districts in Malang City, to be distributed to the community. Taxpayers who have fulfilled their obligations, especially those who have supported e-Tax (electronic tax or online tax), will also get a free coupon," said Yuni. (say/dmb)
