Hary Tanoe Reminisces in Malang

To convince the public that he can be elected as vice president in the 2014 general election, businessman Hary Tanoesoedibjo continues to... road show to various cities. This time road show was carried out at the Savana Hotel in Malang City by holding a dialogue with community leaders from Malang Raya, Thursday (19/12).

Hary Tanoesoedibjo who is running as a vice presidential candidate paired with Wiranto through the Hanura Party in Malang has held many activities. Starting with distributing basic necessities in Samaan Village, giving a guest lecture at Brawijaya University to having a dialogue with community leaders at the Savana Hotel.

Hary Tanoe, the nickname of Hary Tanoesoedibjo, said that Malang City is no longer foreign to him, returning to Malang City is like nostalgia. Because he comes from Surabaya, when he was still in high school, he often went to Malang City.

"I come from Surabaya, in 1984 I often went to Malang City, I entered politics two years ago with the hope of being able to bring change to Indonesia for the better," explained Hary, Thursday (19/12).

Regarding the business world itself, Hary Tanoe is no stranger, besides currently being the CEO of MNC Group, the man born 48 years ago holds various top companies in Indonesia. After completing his education at SMAK St Louis Surabaya, the father of five children completed his studies at Carleton University Ottawa Canada and earned a master's degree in business administration from Ottawa University Canada in 1989.

After returning from Canada, Hary founded PT Bhakti Investama, Tbk, from here his business continued to grow until he was able to buy shares of PT Bimantara Citra, Tbk then changed its name to PT Global Mediacom, Tbk. Hary also became the president director of PT Media Nusantara Citra, Tbk (MNC), PT Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (RCTI), and a commissioner at three private TV stations RCTI, MNCTV, Global TV, and so on.
