Just one day after receiving a visit from the Bontang City Transportation and Communications Agency, East Kalimantan, the Malang City Communication and Information Agency (Kominfo) received another guest from the South Kalimantan Province Transportation and Communications Agency. Led directly by the Head of the South Kalimantan Province Transportation and Communications Agency Hari Karno, they specifically learned about the management of the Kendedes Media Center at the Communication and Information Agency in Malang City, Friday (20/12).

Hari said, first, the visit to Malang City was for friendship, second, the purpose of the South Kalimantan Transportation and Communications Agency to the Malang City Communications Agency was to learn about the Communications Agency. So far, South Kalimantan Province does not have its own Communications Agency, the South Kalimantan Communications Agency is still part of the Transportation Agency in the Field of Air Transportation and Communications.
"In the future, we also want to have our own Communication and Information Service, from various references, the most appropriate one was Malang City to study," explained Karno, Friday (20/12).
Karno said that his party wanted to sharing with Malang City, the knowledge gained in the Malang City Communication and Information Service should be able to be transmitted to South Kalimantan. Because as is commonly known if knowledge is given it will bring many benefits and bring rewards.
"We hope that by having our own media center, in the future through virtual media we can increasingly support the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia in Indonesia," explained Karno.
Karno added, with the good relationship between South Kalimantan and East Java, it is hoped that the relationship with Malang City will also be good. In the future, not only the Ministry of Communication and Information can cooperate, there are many collaborations that can be carried out by the two regions.
"So far, South Kalimantan has imported a lot of basic necessities, vegetables from East Java. Who knows, Malang City can do it too," said Karno.
Secretary of the Malang City Communication and Information Service, Drs. Widjaja Saleh Putra admitted that he was happy to be able to share knowledge with the South Kalimantan Provincial Government. From sharing This experience is expected to further improve relations between the two regions, especially in providing the best services for the benefit of the community.
"In 2009, the Malang City Communication and Information Service was established as a merger of KPDE (Electronic Data Management Office) and the Infocom Division in the Parinkom (Tourism, Information and Communication) Service. In that year, the Kendedes Media Center was established after receiving assistance from the Ministry of Communication and Information in the form of PCs, network devices and internet connections for two years," explained Jaya, Widjaja Saleh Putra's nickname.
Assistance also comes in the form of operational vehicle packages for mobile broadcast units, Kominfo also built a Kendedes media center room which aims to fulfill the desires of the community who are very thirsty for information. The existence of a media center that is packaged interactively has progressed very rapidly and received a lot of attention from the community. The Kendedes media center also built a website as a center for public information and communication through cyberspace so that it can be accessed by the entire community, especially residents of Malang City.
Head of Informatics Applications of Malang City Communication and Information Service, Moh. Sidik, ST added that Malang City Communication and Information Service is a center for improving human resources in the field of Information technology. Malang City Communication and Information Service also collaborates with several communities in Malang City to create interactive programs.
"Kominfo provides training, technical guidance for government officials and the community related to IT," explained Sidik.
