The Head of the East Java Muhammadiyah Regional Management (PWM), Prof. Dr. Tohir Luth, MA said that an event like this is one of the routine agendas held every three months. In addition, he said, coaching was also held for Muhammadiyah congregations, especially mosque administrators. "I happened to be the one who was appointed to provide coaching material," he said.

"An event like this, in addition to improving friendship, can also be used as a means of exchanging information, so that later these preachers and takmir can improve their duties and responsibilities. Only those few are the topics of discussion today, and outside of that there is no other agenda," continued Tohir.

This kind of silaturahmi, Tohir continued, is not only done and/or recommended by Islamic teachings. In any religion, it is certainly suggested not to break off brotherhood among human beings. "There are many benefits from this silaturahmi. In addition to strengthening Islamic brotherhood, we can also give each other advice or criticism of what we do," he explained.

Separately, the Head of the Muhammadiyah Regional Management (PDM) of Malang City, Rif'an Maskur, conveyed the same thing. He added that between the muballigh and the takmir are a series that is very much needed by the community. "Both are two parties/elements that babysitting or serve the community/congregation, and they must be synergized," he explained.

"We hope that our preachers and takmirs can serve and improve da'wah to the community that is more qualified and proportional. If the preachers and takmirs carry out religious guidance well, then the community will also be affected positively. This is where the role of a leader in society is important, where they must be able to provide a good example," added Rif'an. (say/dmb)
