In order to ensure the best service provided to the public by several SKPD (Regional Work Units) in the integrated office, on Jalan Mayjend Sungkono, the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton, Friday (27/12) conducted a surprise inspection (sidak) to the office center.
This sudden inspection, said the man who is familiarly called Abah Anton, was done deliberately, also to ensure that all civil servants had come to work, because today is also often referred to as a day pinch. As is known, December 25th was a Christmas holiday, the next day was a joint holiday, December 27th was an effective day and December 28th was a Saturday.
"Well, usually on December 27, many civil servants are reluctant to come in because the next day is another holiday. However, this is not the case in the integrated office, and we are very grateful. The service runs smoothly and normally, starting at 08.00 WIB until 15.00 WIB, and no civil servants are absent," explained Abah Anton.
Everything, he said, was going well, but there were still some things that needed to be fixed, such as the tariff/fee for the permit, the placement of which was still not strategic enough and could not be seen by everyone who came to the integrated office/block office this. "I asked the BP2T (Integrated Licensing Service Agency) to move it and enlarge the tariff numbers," he explained.
The achievement of the tax sector, continued Abah Anton, has also been good, the achievement of the target of Rp 210 billion has almost been realized 220 billion. "However, I still found a little leakage of the amount of tax and received many complaints from the public. The restaurant tax rate which should be 10 percent, it turns out that there are still those who collect 15 percent," he said.
At that time, when received by the Head of the Regional Revenue Service (Dispenda), Ir. Ade Herawanto, MT at the Building B block office, the Mayor of Malang, Abah Anton provided evidence in the form of a purchase receipt showing the collection of restaurant tax of 15 percent. He gave the receipt to the Head of Dispenda, and when checked, it turned out that the cafe that issued the receipt had not been registered as a taxpayer.
"So I ask the Dispenda to be more selective in collecting data on taxpayers, especially in the context of the implementation of e-Tax later. I always check the field regarding this tax rate, even though I don't go down directly. It would be better if these small leaks could be anticipated, because even though they are small, if there are many, they will become big," said Abah Anton.
Separately, the Head of Dispenda, Ir. Ade Herawanto, MT admitted that what the mayor found was a little less thorough from his staff, and in the future more intensive data collection will be carried out. "We are currently in the process, and it is natural that the results are not perfect. Therefore, assistance or input from the community will greatly assist our performance," explained Ade. (say/dmb)
