Improving services to the community The Population and Civil Registration Service (Dispendukcapil) of Malang City continues to make various breakthroughs. The presence of this queue machine makes Malang City residents feel like they are in a bank or hotel when taking care of population administration or civil registration, so they don't have to crowd. Just take a queue ticket and residents can wait for their turn by sitting relaxed in front of the counter.

Head of Information Management Division of Dispendukcapil of Malang City M. Sulthon said that having a queue machine in a company or bank is something common, but for the Malang City government, it is the first in Indonesia. The existence of this queue machine makes it easier for the public to do various administrations at Dispendukcapil.

"Currently, the queue machine is still at the Population and Civil Registry Office, in the future we will trial it again in Sukun, Klojen and Lowokwaru Districts," said Sulthon, Monday (30/12).

Sulthon said that it is not just a queue machine, the data in the Population and Civil Registry Office is now integrated with the machine. So that any data related to population needs just click and it will be known immediately.

In the future, this data will not only be integrated in the Population and Civil Registry Office but also in the sub-districts in Malang City. So that when people want to take care of various needs such as making certificates, ID cards, and so on, they can see from their respective cellphones, how the queue is at the Population and Civil Registry Office and the sub-district.

"By knowing in advance from their cellphones how the queues are at the Population and Civil Registry Office and sub-district offices, people can more easily arrange their time to go to the Population and Civil Registry Office or sub-district offices so they don't have to queue for long," explained Sulthon.

Not only the queue machine that is currently equipped at the Population and Civil Registry Office, currently the Population and Civil Registry Office is also equipped with a loudspeaker. So that if so far the Population and Civil Registry Office counter officers always shouted to call residents who were queuing, now it doesn't happen anymore. Automatic calls will be heard from the available loudspeaker. (cah/dmb)
