In order to develop sports in Malang City, the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) of Malang City is ready to make various breakthroughs. One of them is by collaborating with entrepreneurs and universities (PT) to train Malang City athletes, Wednesday (10/12).
The elected general chairman of KONI Malang City, Bambang DH Suyono confirmed that he is currently continuing to try to involve entrepreneurs and PT in Malang City to develop Malang City athletes. In order for the effort to be maximized, his party will include entrepreneurs and PT leaders to enter the management of KONI Malang City for the 2014-2018 period.
"We are currently compiling the KONI management. There are already several names of entrepreneurs in Malang and also PT leaders that we have included in the management," explained Bambang, Wednesday (10/12).
Some of the PT leaders whose names are currently included include the rectors of Brawijaya University and Muhammadiyah University of Malang. Meanwhile, for entrepreneurs, among them in the volleyball sport branch there is Eddy Wahyono, badminton Heri Mursyid Broto Sejati, cycling Sumardi Mulyono and pencak silat is Nono Suhertono.
In the current management of KONI Malang City, Bambang also mentioned that he would streamline the existing fields. If so far in KONI there are 13 fields, later it will be streamlined to ten fields. They consist of entrepreneurs, academics and also from the press.
In the future, in addition to maintaining experienced management, Bambang admitted that his party will also rely heavily on young workers. By the end of December 2014, it is hoped that everything will be completed so that it can be inaugurated immediately. (cah/yon)
