SMKN 8 Malang Holds Appreciation Art in Last Moment 2014

Welcoming the end of 2014 and welcoming the new year 2015, SMK Negeri 8 Malang held various activities. Taking place in the school yard, students showed off their abilities in the arts ranging from vocal arts, painting, and others, Tuesday (16/12).

Students of SMKN 8 Malang class X majoring in Computer Network Engineering (TKJ) A in this activity wore traditional Papuan costumes. The students of this class sang various songs ranging from Indonesia Pusaka, Yamko Rambe Yamko, and so on.

Chief Executive Appreciation Art in Last Moment 2014, Tri Wahyuni ​​said this activity was the culmination of the arts and culture subjects. In accordance with the 2013 curriculum, learning must also be supported by the implementation project. This is one of the project displayed by students in arts and culture lessons. In the vocal arts competition, each class is required to sing national songs, traditional songs, and ASEAN songs. In addition to being challenged in the vocal arts competition, in the event the students are also required to display their paintings and photography.

Not playing around, the students also displayed their best work by exhibiting various photos and paintings with various styles. Even the students of class X TKJ E painted the face of their homeroom teacher using cubism techniques, thus displaying a stunning painting.

In addition to various competitions, students' knowledge increases with the presence of workshop fine arts. All speakers and judges in this activity were brought in from outside the school, including Lulut (Art Teacher of SMA Negeri 3 Malang), Heri Catur (Art Teacher of SMKN 5 Malang), Fandri and Fandi Camdika (Polinema), Tomi (DKM) and Samto (bottle painter).
