The budget is Rp. 7,2 billion for BPJS premiums for poor people. Poor people in Malang City who have not been verified can follow up and register with the Health Office or Social Service of Malang City. In this program, the Malang City Government has also paid arrears to BPJS Kesehatan for 350 people with a nominal of approximately Rp. 19.500 per person.

Head of the Malang City Health Office, Dr. dr. Asih Tri Rachmi Nuswantari, MM on the sidelines of the BPJS Health Socialization event and the Handover of Jamkesda (Regional Health Insurance) Cards for Malang City in Baiduri Sepah Ballroom said that with this program it is hoped that health problems for poor residents in Malang City can be resolved, Wednesday (17/12).

Meanwhile, the Head of BPJS Kesehatan Malang Raya, dr. Bimantoro R, AAK said that every day there are 300 to 400 new registrants. To anticipate such a long queue, his party will open a new office not too far from the current office (Jl. Tumenggung Suryo No. 44) namely on Jl. Cisadea.

The bespectacled man greatly appreciates this program, because in East Java, Malang City is the 3rd regional government to implement it after Pacitan and Kediri. "We are working with BKBPM (Family Planning and Community Empowerment Agency), Dispendukcapil (Population and Civil Registration Service), Disnakertrans (Manpower and Transmigration Service), and BPKAD (Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency) so that this program runs smoothly. The Jamkesda to JKN program is a team consisting of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health, BPJS Kesehatan as the manager," explained Dr. Bimantoro.

If there is a data error or something else, he said, then it is not solely the fault of BPJS Kesehatan. So far, we have often been 'blamed' when there are problems related to the BPJS Kesehatan program. "In fact, if I may say that our expenditure is Rp. 90 billion every month and this is not published to the media," he said.

"But let it be, the important thing is that we always try to give the best for the community. If there is something in the field, we hope the community can communicate with us. We will try to help as much as possible so as not to cause new problems," said Dr. Bimantoro.

Separately, the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton said that this program is a real manifestation of the Malang City Government's concern for little man and to strengthen Malang City as a dignified city. "For the data on poor people is in the central government, if there is a mistake we apologize," he explained.

According to the man who is familiarly called Abah Anton, poverty alleviation if only relying on the APBD (Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget) will be very difficult, let alone to reach zero percent. BPJS Kesehatan is one of the government's efforts that is very appropriate to help eradicate poverty," he added.

Meanwhile, one of the recipients of the BPJS Health card, Tajeng (82) a resident of Kasin Gang 8 RT 10 RW 7 Sukun District said that she was very happy with this program. The old woman who works as a vegetable seller hopes that this program will continue to be promoted. "I live alone. Having this BPJS Health card is very helpful," she said. (say/yon)
