Klojen, MC – The commemoration of the 69th Kartika Struggle Day at Rampal Field, Malang City was truly a special entertainment for the people of Malang City. Present at this event were among others the Governor of East Java Soekarwo, Commander of the V/Brawijaya Military Command Major General TNI Eko Wiratmoko, and also the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton, Monday (15/12).

Moreover, in the 69th Kartika Struggle Day Commemoration, a theatrical drama was also presented about how the heroes fought to expel the invaders. Using simple and makeshift weapons did not make the heroes of that time give up, with high spirits the fighters were so enthusiastic in fighting until the Indonesian nation could be independent.
With this 69th anniversary, the TNI is ready to be the vanguard of the Indonesian nation to protect the Indonesian homeland. Including now that Indonesia will soon face the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) 2015.
On this occasion, a parade of TNI combat equipment and weapons was also held, the readiness of soldiers, and community organizations to work together to create peace in Indonesia. The parade was so interesting that it made the community a pile of clumps witnessing the military ceremony at Rampal Field from start to finish.
Commander of V/Brawijaya Military Region Major General Eko Wiratmoko said that in accordance with the history of the birth of the TNI which was born from the people, the TNI cannot be separated from the people. Therefore, all TNI members must be able to work more professionally and do good for the people. "Together with the people, the TNI AD will be strong. Together with the TNI, the people are peaceful and prosperous," Eko emphasized, Monday (15/12).
The Head of the Young Generation of the Communication Forum for the Sons and Daughters of Retired Military and Police (GM FKPPI) of East Java, Ir. Agoes Soerjanto admitted that he was proud that GM FKKPI East Java could participate in this activity. Moreover, in this activity, FKPPI East Java received an award from the TNI Commander General Moeldoko which was presented directly by the Commander of the V/Brawijaya Military Command Major General Eko Wiratmoko.
"We are very proud to receive this award, because this is the first time an award has been given to the GM of FKPPI East Java for his role in maintaining solidarity in East Java," explained Agoes.
Agoes added that with this award, GM FKPPI East Java should not be easily satisfied, but this should be a mandate so that GM FKPPI East Java works better in the future. This is a mandate for the sons and daughters of the TNI-Polri to participate in making the government's efforts to jointly improve the welfare of the people a success. (cah/yon)
