Khofifah revealed that Indonesian women have so far been positioned in the domestic sphere, where their daily lives involve taking care of the household, not as the main supporter of the family. Currently, women must be smart, insightful, and able to determine the process of internalization and acculturation in the family and environment.

"Along with the changes that occur, women are required to revitalize parenting patterns and the process of educating children within the family," explained Khofifah, Tuesday (23/12).

Khofifah added, in the future Indonesian women must become pillars to fortify children so that they do not fall into antisocial actions. Women must be able to maintain social resilience and family welfare.

It also applies to female students so that the knowledge they learn can be a bridge to play a role in living civilization and provisions to lead the progress of the nation and state. Knowledge will be a strength, not just dignity but also dignity to play an equal role in every aspect of national development.

"It is inevitable for women to advance, be intelligent, have dignity and honor amidst the erosion of science and technology. Because the success of a family and a child is because there is a great and authoritative woman behind it," said Khofifah.

On this occasion, Khofifah also told about the repatriation of hundreds of illegal Indonesian Migrant Workers (TKI) working in neighboring countries. Yesterday afternoon, Tuesday (23/12), the plan was to repatriate 497 illegal TKI, and today, Wednesday (24/12) the plan is 734 people.

"They came with only the clothes on their bodies, so we will temporarily accommodate them at the Trauma Center (RPTC) for our guidance. If there are any who experience mental disorders, we will refer them to a psychiatrist," said Khofifah.

These migrant workers will be accommodated for at least two weeks with facilities including living costs of twenty thousand rupiah per day. "This is our common concern because most of them are women. One of the reasons is the low level of education of women," he added. (cah/yon)
