Ahead of Christmas and New Year, Goldmart Holds Exhibition

Various jewelry exhibited at the Goldmart booth included necklaces, earrings, rings, and others. Last November, Goldmart also held a five-day exhibition in Nusa Dua, Bali. During the exhibition, the people of the Island of the Gods were very enthusiastic, and most of them were interested in white gold jewelry.

That is what was conveyed by owner Goldmart, Indra Suryadi when met on the sidelines of the exhibition. "In Malang, we deliberately made the exhibition longer, namely for 10 days, because we are optimistic that the interest of Malang residents is very high to have high-quality jewelry," he said.

When asked about the advantages of Goldmart, Indra said, there are white gold products that are tied with diamonds so that they look more attractive. "The gold content is the same as in the market, but our designs are not owned by other places. Our jewelry is more exclusive and also good in terms of finishing-nya," said Indra.

For market share, he said, Goldmart can be for the middle and upper middle classes. We adjust to market needs. "In Malang, I think there is high interest. With exhibitions, voucher and special discounts, we hope the market share will be even better. We are based in Jakarta, but in the districts or cities there are already 40 o," explained Indra.

Separately, one of Goldmart's marketing staff, Endriyani SP said that on the first day of the exhibition, Malang residents were very interested in 24-karat yellow gold. "For 75 percent white gold, it is not so much, because pure gold is more effective for investment. The exhibition in Bali last month reached IDR 1,5 billion," he said.

"In Malang, for 10 days we are targeting Rp. 2 billion. Seeing that Malang residents are homogeneous and tend to be consumptive, we are optimistic that we can achieve the target, even exceed it.
