According to the plan, Monday (29/12) tomorrow will be launched and operated school buses and tourist buses in the yard of Malang City Hall. There are eight buses that will be tested by the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton. In its operation, the Mayor of Malang makes it free so that it can be enjoyed properly.
With the presence of this tourist bus, it is expected to increase the level of tourist visits to Malang City, which will automatically increase PAD (Regional Original Income, ed). "Tomorrow, we will test the eight buses and go around the streets in Malang City. With this tourist bus, we will also improve the locations or tourist attractions in Malang City," explained the number one person in Malang City.

Meanwhile, for school buses, he continued, they will be prioritized for underprivileged students and those on the outskirts of Malang City. "Later we will record the number of students in Malang City, and prepare several infrastructure such as bus stops. With the existence of tourist buses and school buses, it will also reduce traffic congestion," explained the PKB politician.
When asked whether it would be detrimental to city transportation (angkot), because it could have an impact on decreasing the income of drivers, the man who is familiarly called Abah Anton denied the assumption. According to him, students will be prohibited from using motorbikes, especially those who do not have a Class C driving license.
"There are around 3.000 students in Malang City who go to school every day using motorbikes. With the reduction in students riding motorbikes, it will provide an opportunity for public transportation to attract as many passengers as possible. In fact, we care about public transportation so that their income increases," explained Abah Anton.
For one bus, he continued, it will carry 35 children/passengers. So with that capacity it will not have a big impact on public transportation. "In fact, public transportation will benefit. Let's support this program, so that Malang City remains conducive. If there is something that is not right, it can be discussed and we sit together. Demonstrations are not the only way to solve problems," concluded Abah Anton. (say/dmb)
