Inaugurated, Anita Ready to Maximize Programs for MBR and ZAMP

Taking place at the Malang City Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) Office, Thursday (26/02) the Inauguration and Oath-Taking of the Director of Administration and Finance of Malang City PDAM for the 2015-2019 term and the Supervisory Board of Malang City PDAM for the 2015-2018 term were held by the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton.

Anita Sari SH, M.Hum will serve as Director of Administration and Finance of PDAM Malang City replacing Miftakhul Munir, SE, MM. Meanwhile, Ir. Cipto Wiyono, M.Si who is also the Regional Secretary of Malang City serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PDAM Malang City replacing Dr. Drs. Shofwan, M.Si.

The members of the Supervisory Board of PDAM Malang City are Dra. Rinawati, MM, Dra. Siti Munfaqiroh, M.Si, and M. Zamronie Sofyan. This event was attended by all ranks of the Head of SKPD (Regional Work Units), who at that time were all wearing black and white clothes.

The Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton or familiarly called Abah Anton advised the newly inaugurated officials to work hard and participate in making the 100-0-100 program a success, namely by ensuring 100 percent of the people of Malang City so that all can enjoy clean water. "We hope that PDAM Malang City will work optimally and provide good service to the community," he appealed.

PDAM as one of the business entities of the Malang City Government, continued the PKB politician, should also be able to provide positive contributions so that all ranks within PDAM can work well. "Clean water is one of the basic needs for everyone. Therefore, its fulfillment must be maximized," added Abah Anton.

Separately, Anita Sari said that this year her party will realize five thousand new connections for Low-Income Communities (MBR) from a total of 22 thousand connections. "The cost of installing new connections for MBR this year is IDR 550 thousand, from the previous year it increased by IDR 50 thousand. The first payment is IDR 300 thousand and the rest can be paid in installments," she explained.

The veiled woman added, for the Prima Drinking Water Zone (ZAMP), there are currently 38 points in Malang City. The locations are spread across hotels, schools, and agencies. "In the future, we will continue to add ZAMP locations, because this drinkable water is a necessity for the community," explained Anita. (say/yon)
