Progress in all aspects of public services online in Malang City currently makes many other areas interested in learning. This time the ranks of the Kotabaru Regency government, South Kalimantan came directly to Malang City to conduct a comparative study, Tuesday (03/03).
Not half-heartedly, the Regent of Kotabaru H. Irhami Ridjani, S.Sos, M.Si led the comparative study group directly so that it could be maximized. In addition, all sub-district heads in Kotabaru Regency were also present in the group that was received in the Meeting Room of Malang City Hall.
Irhami said the purpose of his visit to Malang City this time was to conduct a comparative study on public services. As is known, Malang City has been very advanced in public services, as proven by the Tlogomas Urban Village of Malang City being able to win first place in the 2014 National Urban Village Competition.
"Compared to Malang City, our area is very large. Because the area of Kotabaru is almost a quarter of the area of South Kalimantan Province. Therefore, with the support of good technology in public services, we hope to be able to provide better services," explained Irhami, Tuesday (03/03).
In addition to public service issues, Kotabaru Regency also wants to learn a lot about education issues. Because even though the area of Kotabaru Regency is very large, until now it does not have a university.
"If Kotabaru later has a university, it does not mean that we will no longer send students to Malang City. But the existence of the university later is to accommodate underprivileged local sons," said Irham.
Meanwhile, Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton admitted that he was very pleased with the presence of the group from Kotabaru Regency. Comparative study activities like this can strengthen relations between the two regions and can exchange information.
"Malang City has always tried to provide the best public services for the community, therefore we are very proud to receive a visit from Kotabaru," said the man who is familiarly called Abah Anton.
In principle, he added, to serve the community, the Malang City Government always provides the best possible service and convenience so that the community can be more comfortable. Including by providing sub-district services online to take care of various population administration. (cah/yon)
