Seeing the extent of the potential of each official in the Malang City Government, Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton made a new breakthrough. Through the Malang City Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD), officials in the Malang City government underwent a competency test using the fingerprint analysis method and the psychological test method at the Gajahmada Hotel, Tuesday (17/3).
Initially worried about the competency test method, officials in the Malang City Government environment immediately looked relieved after undergoing the test. Because for the test, you only need to put your finger on a tool that has been provided and it takes no more than two minutes for one person.
Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton admitted that he deliberately held a competency test using the fingerprint method because from experience so far, tests using this method are very effective in determining a person's potential.
"Actually, officials in the Malang City government have been working well so far, but I want to be able to do more optimally in organizing the ranks by taking this test," explained the man who is familiarly called Abah Anton, Tuesday (17/3).
In addition to the fingerprint method, he added, officials in the Malang City Government will also undergo a psychological test. This test is also very good for seeing how someone's potential is in leading.
"The existence of fingerprint tests and psychological tests is very good for me to use as a reference in making a decision," said Abah Anton.
From fingerprints, it will be known how a person's track record, work record, character, and personality are, which can then be used to find tasks that match their abilities. Through this method, it is hoped that all levels of the Malang City government can be even better in providing services to the community.
One of the personnel from the Jari Potensi (JaPo) Team TotoK S. Afandi said that so far his company has often conducted tests to analyze a person's potential through fingerprints. Many parties have used his services to analyze a person's potential using the fingerprint method, starting from private companies, local governments, State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), and also ministries.
Meanwhile, the Head of BKD Malang City, Drs. Subkhan revealed that the participants of the competency test with the fingerprint analysis method consisted of echelon II B and III A officials in the Malang City Government.
