Malang City Satpol PP Releases Results of Minor Crime Trial

On March 18, 2015, a Minor Crimes (Tipiring) trial was held by the Malang City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), Civil Servant Investigators (PPNS), Malang District Court, Malang District Attorney's Office, and the Legal Section of the Malang City Regional Secretariat.

The minor criminal trial held in the Yudhistira Courtroom of the Malang City Satpol PP Office was a follow-up to the implementation of public order and security and enforcement of regional regulations, Mayoral Regulations and Malang Mayoral Decrees.

The number of Tipiring cases tried was 34 cases with details, 21 cases of Violation of Regional Regulation No. 8 of 2013 concerning Nuisance Permits and eight cases of violation of Regional Regulation No. 4 of 2006 concerning Advertising Implementation.

In addition, there is one case of the implementation of Regional Regulation No. 11 of 2013 concerning the Implementation of Tourism and four cases of violation of Regional Regulation No. 2 of 2012 concerning Public Order and the Environment. Of the total 34 cases, 15 cases were decided in default and the total sanction amounted to Rp. 16.750.000,-.

This was conveyed by the Head of Satpol PP of Malang City, Drs. Agoes Edy Poetranto, MM, Wednesday (25/03). According to him, a Tipiring trial like this will always be held if it meets the requirements. "We hope to continue to suppress violations of Regional Regulations and other violations of the law in the future," he added. (say/hms/yon)
