As is known, a few days ago the city of Malang was shocked by the arrest of suspected followers of radical Islamic sects or better known as Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
This is a warning for all parties to anticipate and be careful. For Malang City residents, it is hoped that they will be more vigilant with new boarding house residents who could be infiltrated by the ISIS movement. Don't just because of money, then residents are fooled by the entry of members of the radical Islamic network.
Those are some of the things conveyed by the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton in the Sambung Rasa event with the Residents of Gadingkasri Village, Klojen District after the village blusukan event, Sunday (29/3). The man who is familiarly called Abah Anton added that guests who visit for more than 24 hours should also be watched out for.
"If there are suspicious things regarding the existence of radical Islamic networks, then residents should be able to report it to the nearest police station or other authorities such as Satpol PP (Civil Service Police Unit_ed) or Linmas (Community Protection_ed) officers. Let's keep our environment safe and peaceful," added Abah Anton.
The PKB politician also appealed to parents to always pay attention to their children. "In addition to anticipating radical Islamic movements, students are also very vulnerable to drug use (narcotics and dangerous drugs/materials_ed)," appealed Abah Anton.
"MOBILE PHONE (handphone/cellphone/handphone_red) children are one of the media that must always be checked by parents. In anticipating and eradicating drugs and radical Islamic movements, the role of citizens is very helpful. Let's help the government and police in overcoming various problems in this society," concluded Abah Anton. (say/yon)
