After successfully holding the 101rd Tax Awareness Healthy Walk and a people's party in the framework of the XNUMXst Anniversary of Malang City, the Malang City Government (Pemkot) through the Malang City Regional Revenue Service (Dispenda) will continue to provide services and development that are in favor of the people.

There are many ways to increase public compliance in paying taxes, for example by providing... reward (award) in the form of basic necessities (nine basic necessities_ed) to taxpayers (WP) who pay their taxes on time. In addition, it can also be done by increasing socialization of the importance of paying taxes.
The Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton said that the provision of reward in the form of basic necessities is considered quite effective. "The government's largest source of Regional Original Income (PAD) comes from taxes, and the proceeds from these taxes are used entirely for development," he said, Monday (6/4).
In the future, explained the man who is familiarly called Abah Anton, his party plans not only to realize physical development from the proceeds of this tax. "Overseas, from the proceeds of tax payments, it can provide savings to underprivileged people or those whose tax payments are small," he explained.
"These savings are usually given to children of taxpayers who are studying. In this context, the savings program uses a cross-subsidy system. Later in Malang City, it will be calculated how much savings can be given," explained the PKB politician.
The compliance of Malang City residents in paying taxes, continued Abah Anton, has improved and this is proven by the continued increase and addition of participants in the Tax Awareness Healthy Walk every year. "Malang City residents also trust the government with regional autonomy, where taxes have been managed by the relevant region," he concluded. (say/yon)
