Malang City Communications and Information Office Holds Pertura Festival

Sutiaji at the opening of the Inter-District Folk Performance Festival (Pertura) and the inauguration of the Bawera Grahawarta Traditional Media Communication Forum (FK Metra 'Bagra') in Olympic Garden Mall (MOG). Meanwhile, the Head of the Inter-District Pertura Festival Committee who is also the Head of the Malang City Communication and Informatics Agency (Diskominfo), Zulkifli Amrizal, S.Sos, M.Si said that this event is a form of concern from the Malang City Government through the Communication and Informatics Agency for the survival of pertura art. "We want to preserve national culture, especially pertura in Malang City," he explained.

"In addition, we want to develop the empowerment of pertura as a medium for disseminating information and encouraging the growth of creativity and innovation in the development of pertura art. While FK Metra 'Bagra' is a 'free' community forum for artists, creators, or observers even pandemic performing arts under the auspices of the Department of Communication and Information," explained Zulkifli.

The bespectacled man added that the forum would provide space and time for artists and performing arts creators in Malang City to express themselves through their respective fields of art. "This pertura festival is attended by five studios in Lowokwaru, Sukun, Klojen, Kedungkandang, and Blimbing Districts," he added. (say/yon)
