"Repairing damaged roads must go through the Development Planning Deliberation (Musrenbang), especially if the value or budget for repairs is large. If the holes are small, it's not a problem, it can be repaired immediately," said Djarot, Thursday (30/4).

The bespectacled man added, perhaps the community still does not understand and complains if there is a problem with damaged roads like now. "The process of repairing damaged roads is indeed quite long, and that must be understood by the community. If it is caused by a natural disaster, it can still be repaired immediately in the near future," added Djarot.

During the rainy season like now, he continued, it is usually the work season for DPUPPB. However, we must still comply with the existing rules. "We can deal with law enforcement officers if we do not follow the rules," explained the former Head of BKBPM Malang City.

"If the work to repair the damaged road requires a budget of more than Rp 200 million, it must go through Musrenbang, if it is below Rp 200 million, it can be done directly. All damaged roads in Malang City will definitely be repaired gradually," concluded Djarot. (say/yon)
