The perseverance of students of State Islamic Senior High School (MAN) 3 Malang in participating in various learning activities has borne sweet fruit in the National Science Olympiad (OSN). Ten students from the school on Jl. Bandung, Malang City are confirmed to be East Java representatives in the National OSN event which will be held in Yogyakarta on May 18-24, 2015.
This result is a continuation of the previous success of MAN 3 Malang students who brought home six gold medals in the East Java Provincial Level National Science Olympiad (OSN) which was held on February 17, 2015.
The ten outstanding students are Aulia Ramadhani (Economics) and Saskia Ardine (Biology), Irsyad Lutfi Elfahmi and Fata Nugraha (Computers), Aulia Syafitri and Arlif Nabilatur R. (Earth Sciences), Adiba Nur Ashri and Nabilah Rohadatul (Chemistry), Saifullah Fatah and Ahmad Islahudin (Geography).
MAN 3 Malang teacher, Dra. Hj. Wulaida Zuhriyana confirmed that there were indeed ten MAN 3 Malang students who became East Java representatives in the national OSN event in Yogyakarta. This achievement is very encouraging, because of the total number of participants, East Java representatives in the national OSN from MAN 3 are the most. "This success is the result of hard work and perseverance of students and instructors during the Olympiad class," said Wulaida, Monday (4/5).
Wulaida admitted that this success should not make MAN 3 schools and students quickly satisfied, but instead should be spurred to be more diligent and work hard to achieve success. (cah/yon)
