Head of SKDI Division of Malang City Communication and Information Agency Ir. Bambang Nugroho, MT said, the first purpose of this event is to foster friendship with journalist organizations in Malang City such as the Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI), the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI), and the Indonesian Television Journalists Association (IJTI).
"Thus, all elements of society, especially KIM can understand that in Malang there is not only PWI, but also other journalistic organizations. Moreover, currently IJTI can also provide training to radio circles.

In some KIMs, he said, they also have community radio as their mainstay, and what we know in government regulations, the area is 2,5 kilometers.
