The Malang City women's basketball team achieved satisfactory results in the first match of the Banyuwangi V Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) in the group stage. The match that took place today, Sunday (7/6), at the Sahabat Banyuwangi GOR brought its own spirit and motivation.
Against the basketball team from Ponorogo Regency, the first quarter of the Malang City women's basketball team led with a score of 16-0, the second quarter 25-12, the third quarter 45-21, and the fourth quarter 57-25. The Malang City women's team players from the beginning played with high spirits and motivation.
Malang City women's basketball team coach, Yudistira Adi Pratama said that his team had conceded in the second quarter. "At that time we rotated and there was a lack of communication between players. But the children bounced back in the next quarter," explained the bespectacled man.
Yudistira added, basically this match had no significant problems, and his students were able to overcome the opponent's game well. He also appealed to the players not to be too complacent with the results of this match. "We are preparing and for the next match against the Pasuruan City team tomorrow," he added.
