However, Malang City is still determined to increase its medal tally at the East Java Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) V in Banyuwangi this time. Several mainstay athletes will return to compete in the numbers, namely the men's criterium and the women's criterium. In the men's criterium, Fajar Surya Hadi, who previously contributed one gold medal in the IRR class and one bronze medal in the ITT class.

Chairman of the Indonesian Cycling Association (ISSI) of Malang City, Sumardi Waluyo appealed to his athletes to play by bringing out all their abilities in every category they participated in. "Malang City has so far met the initial target, which is two golds," explained Sumardi, Monday (8/6).
