In the East Java Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) V held in Banyuwangi Regency, the Malang City archery team brought 12 archery athletes consisting of six men and six women.
They are Difah Dwi Anggraeni, Patricia Widya Manandana, Safira Tiara, Danang Kamal, Satria Tri Nugraha, Dewa Brahmasta, Robin Prawira, Latif Abdulrahman, Nur Amalina, Dira Khairunnisa, Andini W, and Widi Nur Royan.
The championship was held at Maron Field, Genteng, Banyuwangi Regency on Tuesday (9/6), the Malang City archery contingent won one silver medal and one bronze medal.
Malang City archery coach, Yudhi Purwanto, said that the two medals were contributed by Danang Kamal, an athlete who competed in two sessions in the men's compound event. "We appreciate and are grateful for today's (yesterday_ed) medal achievement. The boys have fought hard, and hopefully tomorrow we can add more medals. We will try our best, because it seems there is still a chance to add medals," concluded Yudhi. (say/yon)
