In collaboration with the Malang City Government, the TNI's annual routine agenda which is one of the manifestations of the TNI Bhakti Operation to help improve village infrastructure, namely the 94th Imbangan TMMD (TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa) was held again. This time the TMMD was held in Sekarsari Hamlet, Tlogowaru Village, Kedungkandang District, Malang City, Sunday (14/6).

In this TMMD, various activities were held, starting from free medical treatment, planting trees, free family planning, to the construction of 870 meters of drainage channels. The activities that lasted for two days until June 16, 2015 were fully supported by the Department of Public Works, Housing and Building Supervision (DPUPPB) of Malang City.
Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton admitted that he was pleased with the TMMD activity which is a form of attention from the Malang City Government and the TNI/Polri to jointly improve the welfare of the community.
"We deliberately directed our activities to the outskirts of Malang City which are prone to disasters, especially flooding," explained the man who is familiarly called Abah Anton, Sunday (14/6).
Abah Anton added that with the construction of good drainage channels, it is hoped that the surrounding community will be willing to maintain them so that they can bring many benefits.
Meanwhile, Commander of Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya, Colonel Arm Totok Imam Santoso, S.IP, S.Sos, M.Tr(Han) said that the target of this activity is how the TNI can bring more benefits to the surrounding areas. Including when the community is carrying out development, the TNI must help.
"This activity was initiated by the TNI in collaboration with the Malang City Government, which is pilot projectct how the TNI/Polri synergize with the government and the community," Totok emphasized. (cah/yon)
