In connection with public complaints regarding the arrangement of vehicle parking at Alun-alun Merdeka (Alun-alun Malang), the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton some time ago immediately conducted a check. It turned out, according to him, after checking the location, the parking had been arranged properly.
North of the town square, explained the number one person in the Malang City Government, it is indeed not allowed and not right to be used as a parking lot. "We have also put up a ban so that parking is not allowed north of the town square," explained the man who is familiarly called Abah Anton, Thursday (25/6).
"Thus, the beauty and cleanliness of the square are maintained. In addition, there is also a ban on Street Vendors (PKL) selling in the newly inaugurated square park area, beggars are also not allowed," added the PKB politician.
Furthermore, Abah Anton said, in the town square area there is a loudspeaker that will inform the public about various things, including the prohibition of littering. "We also appeal to parents to always look after and control their children, because there is no fence around the town square," he explained.
When I went to the town square, Abah Anton explained, there were tourists from Jakarta who said that the beauty of Malang Town Square was no less beautiful than parks abroad. "We will later add a playground for children. And regarding the pedestrian bridge to the north of the town square, we propose that it be made transparent so that it still looks clean. There is already a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with Warna Warni as the manager, and we are just waiting for when the work will be done," explained Abah Anton. (say/yon)
