Led directly by the Mayor of Malang H. Moch. Anton, the ranks of the Malang City Government again held a Ramadan Safari. This time the Ramadan Safari was held at the Baiturrohmah Mosque, Bunulrejo Village, Blimbing District, Malang City (29/6).
The Mayor of Malang, often called Abah Anton, came with the Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji, Regional Secretary of Malang City Ir. Cipto Wiyono, M.Si and all SKPD (Regional Work Unit) officials. This Ramadan Safari to the Baiturrohmah Mosque is the second, the first Ramadan Safari was conducted a few days ago to Wonokoyo Village.
At the Baiturrohmah Mosque, Abah Anton handed over funds for the construction of the mosque amounting to Rp 25 million. This assistance was welcomed with joy by the Baiturohmah Mosque administrators and also the congregation.
Abah Anton said that on normal days the Malang City Government holds... blusukan village, during the month of Ramadan the activity is replaced with Safari Ramadan, the aim of which is to foster friendship and bring the Malang City government closer to the community.
"This activity is part of our efforts to further harmonize the people of Malang City, and create a conducive atmosphere for developing Malang City," explained Abah Anton, Monday (29/6).
With the Safari Ramadan, it is expected that the government and its people can increasingly synergize to realize the welfare of the people of Malang City. Where currently Malang City continues to develop with various achievements, both locally and internationally.
"The many achievements of Malang City make this city a... jujugan other areas to study in this city. This is very encouraging and must continue to be improved," concluded Abah Anton. (cah/yon)
