Regarding the crash of the Indonesian Air Force Hercules C-130 transport plane on Tuesday (30/06) which claimed the lives of 142 people, yesterday, Saturday (4/7), the victims who were still active in the Indonesian Air Force received compensation from PT Asuransi Sosial Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Indonesia (ASABRI).

The government has provided Rp3,8 billion in funds. From the budget, 12 victims who died who were members of the Indonesian Air Force will each receive Rp100 million. Other victims, such as retired members and families of Indonesian Air Force members, will receive assistance with funeral costs.
That was what was conveyed by the President Director of PT ASABRI, Adam R. Damiri on the sidelines of the handover of compensation to the heirs of the Hercules C-130 pilot, Captain Pnb Sandi Permana, at the TNI AU official residence complex in the Abdulrachman Saleh Malang Air Force Base area.
The compensation of Rp100 million, according to Adam, is still considered insufficient. The dedication of the TNI AU soldiers who died was very great, and they died while carrying out their state duties. "For the families left behind, they will receive a full salary for six months, and after that they will become warakawuri," he explained.
Meanwhile, Commander of Abdulrachman Saleh Air Base (Danlanud), Marsma Hadi Cahyanto admitted that he was also ready to help with the education costs of the children of the victims of the Hercules C-130 aircraft. "We will help as much as possible voluntarily," he said. (say/yon)
