If the Nahdlatul Ulama University (PTNU) wants to be able to progress, then there must be an acceleration movement to be able to catch up with its current backwardness. That is one of the things expressed by Prof. Dr. H. Mohammad Nuh, DEA in an interactive dialogue entitled 'Increasing PTNU Competitiveness' at the Islamic University of Malang (Unisma), Saturday (4/7).

Mohammad Nuh said, PTNU must be recognized as currently lagging behind in many areas with other universities. But that should not discourage, because with hard work, the Unisma Foundation Advisor is confident that universities under the auspices of NU can be competitive.
"The requirement to be able to accelerate in advancing PT NU must be an increase in performance. If you go to work, don't let the sun precede you, when you go home from work, don't let the sun see you," he explained, Saturday (4/7).
By working that hard, the rector, lecturers or employees of PTNU must also receive attention to be able to really focus on pouring out knowledge. For that, the foundation must think about how to meet the needs and welfare of employees as best as possible.
Meanwhile, the Chancellor of Unisma, Prof. Dr. H. Masykuri Bakri, M.Si said that with high flying hours at the national and international levels, Prof. Dr. H. Mohammad Nuh, DEA certainly has a lot of experience and knowledge. Therefore, his presence at Unisma is highly anticipated to share his knowledge.
"By learning directly from the concepts presented by Prof. Nuh, we are optimistic that we can make Unisma even better," said Masykuri.
As an Islamic university, he added, Unisma is currently continuing the process to be able to advance to become a superior campus. Where in addition to having the Tri Dharma of higher education, Unisma also prioritizes the formation of intelligent, independent, tough, and noble characters. (cah/yon)
