Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton gave a special message to Civil Servants (PNS) in the Malang City Government to ensure they are more orderly and disciplined in carrying out their duties. In the morning assembly at Malang City Hall, PNS were asked to return to work on time and were prohibited from using official vehicles for homecoming trips, Monday (13/7).

The Mayor of Malang, familiarly called Abah Anton, said that Malang City Civil Servants were given time from 16 to 21 July 2015 for the Eid holiday. Abah Anton also asked the Civil Servants to be more disciplined and not to be late in returning from going home to their hometowns.
“On the 22nd we will do open house at Malang City Hall. With sufficient holiday period, there will certainly be sanctions if there are civil servants in Malang City who do not come in on time," he explained, Monday (13/7).
Abah Anton added, civil servants are also not allowed to use official cars for homecoming, all official cars must be collected at Malang City Hall. This is done to respect the people of Malang City and also to secure official cars owned by the Malang City government.
"I hope that all civil servants of Malang City will not go home using official cars. If there are any who are stubborn and violate, they will be subject to sanctions in accordance with existing regulations," he said. (cah/yon)
