The Interfaith Harmony Forum (FKUB) of Malang City specifically made an agreement to ensure that Malang City remains conducive. Taking place in the yard of Malang City Hall, religious leaders in Malang City signed a peace agreement, Wednesday (22/7).

Chairman of FKUB Malang City Sujoko Santoso said that the existence of religious conflicts that sometimes occur is a valuable experience for the people of Malang City. Learning from such incidents, the people of Malang City must be better in maintaining ties of friendship and harmony between religious communities.
"Malang City must remain conducive, therefore, on this occasion of halalbihalal at Malang City Hall, we agreed to sign a peace agreement between religious communities," explained Sujoko, Wednesday (22/7).
In this interfaith peace agreement, he added, six interfaith figures in Malang City were involved, namely from Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Confucianism.
Through this activity, it is expected that there will be no incitement, slander, violence, or anarchism between all religious communities in Malang City. And also a conducive situation can be created and national disintegration will not occur.
The agreement witnessed by the Mayor of Malang, TNI/Polri, and all community leaders was also mentioned by Sujoko as a consolidation event for all elements of society in Malang City so that religious life in Malang City remains harmonious and harmonious. (cah/yon)
