Taking the theme 'From the Regions for Indonesia', the 2015 Innovative Regional Heads award ceremony was held for the second time by Koran Sindo (MNC Group) at the Sandeq Ballroom Grand Clarion Hotel Makassar, Friday (31/7).
MNC Group CEO, Hary Tanoesudibjo, in his speech delivering the award said that PPLPP Indonesia will be able to progress further if it is strengthened by innovative regional heads.
"In this regard, the award for innovative regional heads is expected to be a strong pull for other regions to move with the same energy," said Hary Tanoe.
Seven mayors were selected as Innovative Regional Heads I given to three elected regents in the categories of maritime, economic, and public service development, as well as four innovative governors. Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton is one of the seven innovative mayors who received the MNC Group's annual agenda award.
An innovative assessment of the Mayor of Malang, who is often called Abah Anton, for his CSR touch (Corporate Social Responsibility_ed) and waste management becomes something productive. This was stated by Pung Purwanto who is the chairman of the organizing committee. (say/hms/yon)
